With green apple and blackcurrant leaf, the fragrance begins with a fresh botanical dimension, conjuring up an imaginary garden.
The heart presents a magnificent bouquet of magnolia, freesia, marigold and lily of the valley, which lend the creation harmony with their soft and elegant floral notes. The woody intensity of cedar and vetiver is mingled with musks to extend the wear of this ethereal fragrance.
Mix & Match : Layering with 101 to accentuate the soft floral aspect. Meanwhile 802 makes the fragrance lighter with more ethereal, subtly spicy notes, tempering the fruity facets.
Growing up in Grasse with a perfumer father, Philippe had his future mapped out for him. Philippe worked at Robertet for 20 years at locations across the globe. For the past 17 years, he has been a senior perfumer at Drom Fragrances in Paris. He is inspired by music and by the excesses and incredible creativity of the 1970s. The origins of the blues, raw and forceful sounds, the timbre of roots music, the resonance of a tormented guitar. Choosing his favorite ingredient is a tough decision but if he had to name just one, it would be a woody note like patchouli, sandalwood or vetiver that ranges from smoky to velvety and mysterious! Travel and cultural differences inspire him. He was won over by Bon Parfumeur’s concept of building your fragrance yourself to match your own preferences. He defines a Bon Parfumeur using these three words: curiosity, intuition and perseverance.
